At Laguiole Le Couteau we believe that true quality takes time and a personal touch. Every single piece is individually handcrafted by our dedicated Artisans in France only after you place your order - and made specially for you.

This means your product doesn't come from a shelf – it is born in the hands of a master craftsman who pours their passion and expertise into every detail, just for you. From the selection of the steel (satin matte or mirror polish) to the final polishing and custom engravings, we go to great lengths to ensure your order is exactly as you envisioned it. We take immense pride in our work and are committed to making your order a unique heirloom that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Our Artisans do their utmost to make your product perfect – it normally takes approx 3-6 weeks from your order to the product are ready to be shipped to you.

Legal Notice Regarding Made-to-Order Items

Due to the bespoke nature of our production, please be aware that the standard right of withdrawal (return policy) does not apply to the products on laguiolelecouteau.com. Each item is classified as "made to the consumer's specifications" or "clearly personalized" under EU consumer law.

Once our Artisans in France have begun the crafting process based on your specific order  - including your choice of steel finish or custom engraving—the order cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept that these unique pieces are created exclusively for you and are therefore exempt from the general 14-day return period.

Our Promise & 2-Year Guarantee

While we cannot offer returns for a change of mind, your peace of mind is our priority. Your purchase is protected by a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Inspection: Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at service@laguiolelecouteau.com so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Resolution: In the rare case of a confirmed issue, we will handle your product with the utmost care, offering a repair or an exchange within the guarantee period.

Refunds: If a return for a defect is approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
